About: Indepth study of the Book of James. Bring your study bible/commentary to share in-depth study of the teaching found here. James was a 1/2 brother of Jesus; leader of the church in Jerusalem; morals & ethics of Christian living were his primary concern, which he conveyed to the believers.
Method of study: To have read chapter 1 prior to attending. We will begin by reading through the chapter together, observing and examining the words of each verse to interpret the meaning of the text. Using 'study helps' found in your bible (dictionary, Gr./Heb., commentaries, notes) we discuss, and share our findings to understand the message contained therein; proceeding through the book passage by passage.
